Brief information about the university
The University of Technology Dublin is one of the largest universities in Dublin and Ireland. It specializes in technical fields (engineering and information technology) but also offers programs in art, humanities, tourism, hospitality, marketing, design, etc. It was officially founded in 1992 by merging six colleges.
Achievements of Technological University Dublin
The Dublin Institute of Technology is a public institution and a member of the Association of European Universities. Today, more than 22,000 students, including full-time, part-time, and postgraduate students, study at DIT. In addition, more than 1,000 international students from 85 countries study here. Six faculties offer more than 300 different educational programs.
The institute’s oldest college, the College of Technology, was founded in 1887 and has a 125-year history.
